Daniel Bellón

Daniel Bellón, born in Ferrol, Galicia, in 1985, is a highly acclaimed Galician bagpiper and saxophonist. He has had a prolific career, both as a solo artist and as part of various groups, including BellónMaceiras, Roquementroque, Venela, and Xaloucos. Bellón has won numerous prestigious awards, showcasing his mastery of the gaita, a traditional Galician bagpipe. His musical influences span folk, jazz, and fusion genres, reflecting his versatility as a musician. He co-founded the BellónMaceiras Music School in Fene, Galicia, alongside Diego Maceiras, further solidifying his commitment to preserving and promoting Galician music traditions.

Bellón's recent releases include titles like "Jig Owen," "Danza das cacharelas," "Banakoa," and "Mazurca de Seivane," which highlight his deep connection to Galician folk music while also exploring diverse musical styles.
