Cathy Crescendo

Cathy Crescendo, often abbreviated as cC, originated in St Cloud, Minnesota, as a solo side project by Jacob Champlin from his band Allies in Chaos around 2005. The project evolved from a solo endeavor into a full band with the addition of members Thomas, Gwen, Brett, and Anna. cC released their first CD, "Giant Killers," in 2007, followed by "The Bright Branching" in 2009. Over time, the band's lineup changed, and the current members include Jacob Champlin, Anna Steffans, Adam Kiesling, Gwen Ruehle, and Luke Hawley. Their music is characterized by a collaborative approach, often involving themes of everyday life and personal connections.

Their albums have received attention for their eclectic blend of styles, making them intriguing for listeners looking for unique musical experiences. With "Expensive Ink" being one of their recent releases, alongside "The Bright Branching" and "Giant Killers," Cathy Crescendo continues to contribute to the diverse indie music scene.
