Trouvère Medieval Minstrels is a duo of dedicated medieval musicians, Paul Leigh and Gill Page, who have been performing and researching medieval music for over two decades. Their passion lies particularly in the music of the High Middle Ages, a period rich with the spirit of the crusades and the culture of courtly love. They specialize in rediscovering, recreating, and interpreting medieval songs and melodies, often drawing from historical manuscripts like the 13th-century Chansonnier du Roi. Their signature sound beautifully weaves strings—played on instruments such as the gittern, lute, and harp—with medieval flutes, bagpipes, hurdy-gurdy, and traditional vocals, creating authentic and immersive medieval performances.

Trouvère Medieval Minstrels are not only performers but also passionate researchers and educators of medieval music. They are heavily involved with the UK's only festival dedicated to medieval music, Medieval Music in the Dales, which they founded and continue to run. Their extensive catalogue includes a wide range of medieval repertoire spanning five centuries, showcased in albums like *Saeculorum - Five Centuries of Medieval Music* and *Music for a Medieval Prince*.
