Santo & Johnny were an American rock and roll instrumental duo from Brooklyn, New York, made up of brothers Santo and Johnny Farina. They're best known for their dreamy 1959 hit "Sleep Walk," a steel guitar-led instrumental that became an instant classic and remains one of the most iconic slow-dance tracks of the era. The song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has been featured in countless movies, TV shows, and covers over the years.
The brothers created a unique sound with Santo's steel guitar and Johnny’s rhythm guitar support, blending elements of rock, surf, and even a bit of doo-wop.
