MinJung Baek is a South Korean pianist who has been praised for her "exquisite technique" and "deeply expressive" performances. She began playing the piano at the age of four and went on to study at the Seoul National University and the Juilliard School. Baek has won numerous awards, including the first prize at the International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn in 2017. She has performed with major orchestras around the world, including the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra. Baek's repertoire includes works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff. She is also a passionate advocate for new music and has premiered works by several contemporary composers.
