Robin Lumley

Robin Lumley is a British keyboardist, composer, and producer who's been a prominent figure in the progressive rock scene since the 1970s. He's probably best known for his work with Brand X, a jazz-fusion band featuring Phil Collins, where his distinctive keyboard textures were a key part of their sound. Beyond Brand X, Robin has collaborated with a wide range of artists, from Jack Lancaster and Bill Bruford to Rod Argent and even French violinist Jean-Luc Ponty. He's also released several solo albums, showcasing his talents as a composer and exploring everything from orchestral works to electronic soundscapes. His solo album "Marscape" is considered a classic of the progressive rock genre.

Over the years, Robin has also made a name for himself as a skilled producer, working with artists like David Sylvian and the Penguin Cafe Orchestra. He's also composed music for film and television, demonstrating his versatility and wide-ranging musical abilities. He continues to be an active musician, revisiting and remastering his earlier works while also exploring new creative avenues.
