Skiltron is an Argentinian power/folk metal band that has carved out a unique niche within the heavy metal scene by blending the thunderous force of metal with traditional Celtic music. Formed in 2004 by Emilio Souto, Skiltron quickly distinguished themselves with their bagpipe-laden riffs and a fierce homage to Scottish history and culture. With subsequent albums like 'Into the Battleground' (2013) and 'Legacy of Blood' (2016), Skiltron consistently delivered anthemic melodies and robust metal with a cultural edge. The release of 'Legacy Of Blood (bonus track edition)' and 'Demos & Unreleased Tracks' provided fans with additional content that demonstrated the breadth of the band's creative process. Skiltron’s reputation for energetic live performances was further cemented by their ‘Live at Wacken 2018’ album, capturing their raw onstage power and connection with audiences.
