Dagmar Peckova
Dagmar Pecková is a celebrated Czech mezzo-soprano known for her rich voice and expressive performances across opera, oratorio, and art song. She started her career as a member of the prestigious Semperoper in Dresden and went on to become a regular guest at top opera houses and festivals throughout Europe, including roles at the Berlin State Opera and Carnegie Hall. Over the years, she's become especially recognized for her interpretations of Mahler, Dvořák, and the dramatic works of Wagner.
Pecková has developed a distinctive musical style that blends classical depth with emotional intensity, and she isn’t afraid to take artistic risks—whether curating thematic albums like Sinful Women or showcasing lesser-known works. In recent years, she’s also embraced more crossover and holiday-themed projects, such as Exaltatio - Christmas Carols and Nativitas.
