Toad the Wet Sprocket is an American alternative rock band formed in Santa Barbara, California, in 1989. The band's original lineup consisted of Glen Phillips (vocals, guitar), Todd Nichols (guitar, vocals), Dean Dinning (bass), and Randy Guss (drums). They rose to fame in the early 1990s with their hit singles "Walk on the Ocean" and "All I Want," which showcased Phillips' distinctive vocals and the band's melodic, introspective songwriting.
