Morbid Saint is an American thrash metal band that originated from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, in 1984. Known for their aggressive thrash sound and intense live performances, the group secured a fervent following in the underground metal scene of the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band's raw energy and blistering speed were first captured in their demo "Lock Up Your Children," which eventually led to the recording of their seminal full-length debut, "Spectrum of Death," in 1988. Produced by Eric Greif, the album was reissued several times and became a cult classic among thrash aficionados due to its unrelenting ferocity and technical prowess.

After an initial dissolution in the early 1990s, Morbid Saint saw various resurgences, solidifying their status as icons of thrash metal.
