Martin Carthy

Martin Carthy is a legendary figure in British folk music, renowned for his distinctive guitar playing and deep commitment to traditional English songs. Since the 1960s, he's been a key force in the folk revival movement, both as a solo artist and through collaborations with influential groups such as Steeleye Span, the Watersons, and later the folk supergroup Waterson:Carthy, which he formed with his wife, Norma Waterson, and their daughter, Eliza Carthy.
