De Vliegende Panters

De Vliegende Panters was a Dutch cabaret trio formed in 1995 by Rutger de Bekker, Diederik Ebbinge, and Remko Vrijdag, all graduates of the Amsterdam School of Arts. Known for their clever and entertaining performances, the group built a dedicated fan base with shows that combined sharp humor and musicality. They gained recognition with productions like "Sex" and had a vibrant presence in the Dutch cabaret scene until around 2008. Their work also extended into television, notably with the series "Daar Vliegende Panters," which aired from 2001 to 2006, showcasing their unique blend of comedy and music.

The trio produced a range of shows and albums over their active years, including titles such as "Ebbinge Vrijdag en De Bekker," "Daar Vliegende Panters II," and "Houdoe." Their style often blended witty lyrics with engaging melodies, making them a memorable act in Dutch cabaret history. Though they ceased regular activities as a group after 2008, their work remains a beloved part of the Netherlands' cultural landscape.
