Alma de Apatzingán
Alma de Apatzingán is a Mexican folk music group that specializes in the traditional music of the Apatzingán region of Michoacán. The group was founded in 1975 and has since released over 20 albums. Their music is characterized by its use of traditional instruments such as the vihuela, jarana, and guitar, as well as its lively and danceable rhythms. Alma de Apatzingán has toured extensively throughout Mexico and the United States, and has been featured on numerous radio and television programs.
