Bajaga & Instruktori is one of the most iconic rock bands to come out of the former Yugoslavia and Serbia. Formed in 1984 by guitarist and songwriter Momčilo Bajagić, better known as Bajaga, the group quickly rose to fame with their polished blend of pop-rock and catchy melodies. Bajaga had already made a name for himself as a member of the hard rock band Riblja Čorba before branching out with his own project. What started as a solo endeavor soon evolved into a full-fledged band with a rotating but consistently talented line-up of musicians.
Their debut album, Pozitivna geografija, became an instant classic, packed with hits that are still beloved across generations. Over the decades, Bajaga & Instruktori have remained a staple of the Balkan music scene, known for energetic live performances and a catalog of anthemic songs that capture both emotion and wit. With albums like Sa druge strane jastuka and Jahači magle, they've proven their staying power, blending pop sensibilities with rock attitude and a regional flair.
