The High Divers

The High Divers are an Americana rock band hailing from Charleston, South Carolina, bringing forth a rich blend of Southern-infused rock, rhythm & blues, and indie-pop sensibilities. Formed by husband and wife team Luke and Mary Alice Mitchell, the group's lineup is rounded out by members Julius DeAngelis and Kevin Early. They quickly established themselves within the Southern rock scene with the release of their debut album, "Riverlust," in 2015, which showcased their knack for crafting melodious tunes encapsulated in warm harmonies and earnest lyricism.

Following the success of "Riverlust," The High Divers continued to evolve their sound and expand their reach. Their second album, "Chicora," named after the neighborhood in Charleston where the band members lived and worked at the time of its creation, came out in 2018 and further solidified their musical identity. As a live band, The High Divers have the reputation of delivering electrifying performances, which can be witnessed in their "The High Divers on Audiotree Live" session. They have a special way of connecting with audiences through songs like "Should I Be Worried?" and "Old Days," which combine relatable storytelling with foot-stomping rhythms. Celebrating the holidays with their own unique flair, they released "A Very Divers Christmas," offering a festive twist to their signature sound. With every release, The High Divers demonstrate their ability to traverse musical landscapes while staying true to their roots-rock foundation.
