NewLaw

NewLaw is a dynamic country trio from Calgary, Alberta, made up of brothers Cayd, Ty, and Dayne Greiner. Known for their gritty harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, the trio blends the soul of classic country with a contemporary pop twist. Raised on country music and deeply bonded by family ties, they started their musical journey from childhood recitals and evolved to perform on prominent stages across Western Canada. Their music reflects a mix of influences, including legends like George Strait, while also embracing comparisons to modern acts like the Jonas Brothers.

The band's story began after the 2013 Calgary flood, which inspired their first original songs and led to their debut EP "Show You There’s Hope" in 2015. Since then, they've released additional EPs like "You + Me" (2017) and "Wish I Was There" (2021), with charting singles such as “Next to Me” and “Lucky, Stupid, Crazy.” Their sound has grown from Christian pop-rock roots toward mainstream country, producing popular tracks like “Small Town Lights” and “I Want My Town Back.” NewLaw has garnered several awards and nominations, including a Western Canadian Music Award nod and fans' choice accolades. They've also gained exposure on America’s Got Talent, boosting their profile and confidence. Whether rocking honky tonks or collaborating in Nashville with top songwriters, NewLaw delivers music full of authenticity, brotherhood, and Alberta grit, always staying true to their roots.
