Chirimoyo

Chirimoyo, whose real name is Dan González, is a musician from Mexico known for blending Latin and electronic music. He was influenced by various genres such as Son Jarocho, cumbia, funk, and rock during his time in music school. After graduating, Dan became increasingly interested in synthesizers and electronic music, which led to the creation of his unique sound. His debut album, "Electropicoso," showcases this blend, featuring clarinet, saxophone, Latin percussion, and electronic textures over eight tracks. Each song is composed, produced, and performed by Dan himself on multiple instruments.

Chirimoyo's music is a result of his passion for experimentation, aiming to bridge popular and academic music. His releases, including titles like "Digitrópico," "El Ritmo del Alma," and "Electropicoso," highlight his ability to fuse traditional Latin rhythms with modern electronic elements. This distinctive style has allowed him to stand out in the music scene and connect with fans seeking innovative and culturally rooted sounds.
