Mock Identity is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2018 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Alex Marshall, bassist and vocalist Emily Kempf, and drummer and vocalist Jake Reed. Mock Identity's music is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric sound, and introspective lyrics. The band has released two EPs, "Where You Live" (2019) and "Paradise" (2021), and a single, "4 Songs" (2022). Mock Identity has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The War on Drugs, Beach House, and DIIV.
