Asakusa Jinta

Formed in 2004 by Oshow, formerly of the ska-death band Death March Kantai, Asakusa Jinta has been active in preserving and celebrating the cultural heritage of Tokyo's historic Asakusa district. Their music reflects a deep respect for the area's history and spirit, drawing inspiration from the traditional *jinta* street bands that roamed Japan's streets during the Meiji Period.
