Pierre-Antoine Savoyat

Pierre-Antoine Savoyat is a dynamic French trumpet player, flugelhornist, and composer who's made Brussels his home since 2016, quickly becoming one of the city's rising stars in the jazz and improv scene. Coming from a music-loving family, he started blowing notes on the cornet young, self-taught composing by age eight, and honed his skills at conservatories like Chalon-sur-Saône (snagging diplomas in jazz, classical trumpet, and orchestral conducting) and Brussels' Flemish Conservatory (Master's in Jazz with great distinction). As leader of his quartet **Le Monde Merveilleux de Pépito**—with Simon Groppe on piano, Fil Caporali on bass, and Oscar Georges on drums—he's dropped gems like *Memories From a Winter Journey*, *Thousand Shades of a Clown*, *Song For My Hero*, and more, while gigging at spots like Sounds Jazz Club and festivals across Europe, China, and beyond.
