Artone

Artone is a Bulgarian music producer, remixer, and DJ based in Sofia, known for his distinctive deep house style that blends smooth, laid-back vibes with soulful sounds. Influenced in his early years by nu-jazz, neo-soul, instrumental hip-hop, and trip-hop, Artone began making beats around 2003 as a teenager. He started a trip-hop band in 2006, began DJing in 2007, and was notably inspired by the American Naked Music Recordings label, which shaped his interest in West Coast deep house. Since 2008, he has focused on producing house music, emphasizing quality, creativity, and soulful expression rather than following mainstream trends.

It’s worth noting that "Artone" was also the name of a Dutch record company founded in 1956 by the Slinger family, originally oil traders, who started the label out of their love for jazz and quickly grew it by acquiring distribution rights for major American labels. However, this is unrelated to the Bulgarian electronic artist known today as Artone.
