Bella Wakame

Bella Wakame is a Berlin-based musical collaboration between multi-instrumentalist and composer Andi Haberl and sound artist Florian Zimmer. The duo’s sound is a restless exploration, weaving together elements of motorik club beats, electro-acoustic jazz experiments, ambient soundscapes, and energetic instrumental anthems. Their live performances—as well as the recordings that make up their releases—are captured in diverse settings, from Berlin venues like Silent Green and Donau 115 to their own homes, reflecting a creative process that’s both spontaneous and deeply collaborative.

Recent releases from Bella Wakame include the self-titled album, as well as singles like "Manga Bois" and "Shades of Nambei," all showcasing their ability to blend improvisation with composition in a way that feels bold, dynamic, and distinctly their own.
