Gothblade

Gothblade is a melodic death metal band from Baguio, Philippines, known for blending melodic death metal with gothic metal elements. The project originates from the creative mind of Jexter Dean Buenaventura, who crafts a distinct sound characterized by atmospheric and heavy riffs. Gothblade has been active since at least 2017 and has released music that includes recent tracks such as "The High Priestess," "Perpetiel," and "The Magician," showcasing their dark, melodic style within the metal scene.

This band is not to be confused with Goth Babe, an American indie rock solo project by Griffen Washburn. Gothblade’s music distinctly caters to fans of heavier metal genres and stands out in the Philippine metal community for its unique fusion and thematic depth.
