The Pineapple Thief began as the musical brainchild of frontman Bruce Soord in 1999, hailing from Somerset, England. "Versions of the Truth," released in 2020, is a testament to this, including singles such as "Break It All" and "Demons" which reflect the band's continued relevance in the progressive rock scene. The Pineapple Thief also delivered the "Nothing But The Truth" performance, which was turned into both a live release and reinterpreted in their "Rewired" versions, catering to fans with intimate reimaginings of their music. Band members Gavin Harrison on drums, Jon Sykes on bass, and Steve Kitch on keyboards complement Soord's vision, combining their immense talent to create immersive live experiences and records such as "Hold Our Fire (Live)," capturing the raw energy of their performances.
