Theo Mackeben

Theo Mackeben was a German composer and conductor who lived from 1897 to 1953. He is best known for his work in film music, particularly for his scores for the films "M" (1931) and "The Threepenny Opera" (1931). Mackeben's music is characterized by its use of jazz and popular music elements, as well as its dark and atmospheric tone. He was a prolific composer, writing over 100 film scores during his career.
