Orphx

Orphx is a Canadian music duo composed of Rich Oddie and Christina Sealey, active in the international techno, industrial, and experimental music scenes. Founded in 1993 by Oddie, Sealey, and Aron West, the group initially explored improvised performances inspired by early industrial music and noise from Europe and Japan. Over the years, Orphx has evolved, incorporating elements of techno and electro into their sound, which is characterized by powerful layered rhythms, modulating soundscapes, and processed vocals. The duo has gained an international following, particularly within the European "rhythmic noise" scene, and has collaborated with various artists on remixes and side projects. Their live performances are renowned for combining modular synths, drum machines, and live vocals, often featuring at prominent festivals and techno clubs worldwide.
