Demiurgon

Demiurgon is an Italian death metal band from Modena, formed in 2014 from the ashes of their previous incarnation known as Hatred (active since 2001). Known for their traditional and technical approach to death metal, they draw clear inspiration from early death metal pioneers like Morbid Angel, delivering heavy, relentless riffs and brutal blast beats without venturing into prog or experimental atmospheres. The band includes members who have also played in notable Italian metal acts such as Unbirth and Darkend.

Over the years, Demiurgon has released several albums, including *Above The Unworthy* (2015), *The Oblivious Lure* (2019), *Cult of Iconoclasm* (2021), and their latest *Miasmatic Deathless Chamber* (2025). This newest release showcases the band's commitment to pure, uncompromising death metal with tight production and intense songwriting. Their sound is characterized by its classic death metal brutality combined with technical skill and a fierce, angry energy that resonates strongly within the Italian underground metal scene.
