Horia Andreescu

Horia Andreescu is a Romanian conductor born on October 16, 1946, in Brasov. He began studying piano as a child and later attended the Bucharest Music Academy from 1965 to 1974. Andreescu continued his studies with renowned conductor Hans Swarowski. Throughout his career, he has recorded over nine hundred works for broadcast and made numerous commercial recordings for various companies. His recent releases include a diverse range of classical works, such as compositions by Mozart, Enescu, and Glazunov, showcasing his versatility as a conductor.

Andreescu has conducted prominent orchestras, including the George Enescu Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, and has performed works by notable composers like Bruckner. His extensive discography and performances highlight his significant contributions to the world of classical music.
