Nina Persson is a Swedish singer-songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of the indie pop band The Cardigans. Born in Örebro, Sweden, in 1974, Persson began her musical career in the early 1990s, forming The Cardigans with guitarist Peter Svensson. The band rose to international fame with their 1996 album "First Band on the Moon," which featured the hit single "Lovefool." Persson has also released several solo albums, including "A Campfire in the Head" (2001) and "Colonia" (2014). Her music is characterized by her ethereal vocals, introspective lyrics, and a blend of pop, folk, and electronic elements.
