Sivan Magen
Sivan Magen is an internationally celebrated harpist known for his virtuosic technique and adventurous repertoire. Originally from Israel, he has built a reputation as one of the leading harpists of his generation, performing both solo and chamber music across major venues around the world. As the principal harpist of the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and a founding member of the acclaimed chamber group Tre Voci, Magen has helped expand the boundaries of harp music, regularly commissioning and premiering new works.
Magen's discography showcases his wide-ranging musical interests, featuring recordings like Still Falls the Rain and Fantasien, as well as collaborations with contemporary composers such as Lotta Wennäkoski and Christopher Theofanidis. His expressive playing and inventive programming continue to bring fresh attention to the capabilities of the harp in both classical and contemporary music.
