Murat Kabardokov

Murat Kabardokov is a composer and pianist born on January 29, 1986, in Nalchik, Russia. He began his musical journey at the age of 7, initially studying piano and guitar at the music school N2 in his hometown. As he grew older, Kabardokov became increasingly interested in composition, starting formal studies around the age of 13 under Jabrail Haupa. He went on to graduate from the North Caucasus State Institute of Arts in 2009, specializing in both composition and piano. Later, in 2012, he completed his studies at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory.

Kabardokov's work spans a wide range of musical genres, including orchestral music, chamber works, film scores, and more. He has collaborated with notable ensembles like the Taurida Symphony Orchestra and the Klever Quartet. Some of his notable releases include the album "Songs without Words" with the Klever Quartet and the soundtracks for films like "Deep Rivers." His compositions often reflect a blend of cultural influences, showcasing his versatility as a composer. Kabardokov currently resides and works in St. Petersburg, Russia, where he continues to create diverse and captivating musical pieces.
