Brother Bicker Band is a Canadian Americana and roots rock group that originated about eight years ago from Jeremy Hrdlicka’s solo project, Brother Bicker. Jeremy, who sings and plays acoustic guitar, teamed up with Tom Mogan, who contributes guitars and vocals, to expand the solo effort into a full band. Their sound, often described as "maple whiskey rock n roll," blends well-aged, slightly rough edges with a touch of sweetness unique to their Canadian roots. The band now features seven members, including Ben Ellard on keys, Jim Duncan on bass, Matt Dawe and later Taylor Miles on drums, and vocalists Jennele Coulson and Claire Wilkes, creating a rich and full musical experience.
The Brother Bicker Band has released several albums such as "Another Kind of Train," "Rocky Mountain Christmas," and "Hospitality and Northern Charm," showcasing their blend of country rock with a distinct northern charm. They have steadily grown by playing local shows and recording together, developing a loyal following through their heartfelt songwriting and tight musicianship. Jeremy’s journey—from learning guitar online after starting as a university frat band singer to forming the current band lineup—illustrates their grassroots approach to music and connection with fans.
