Niagara

Niagara was a French new wave and synth-pop duo, active from 1982 to 1992, composed of Muriel Moreno (vocals) and Daniel Chenevez (keyboards, programming). They burst onto the scene with their catchy melodies and Moreno's distinctive, powerful vocals, quickly becoming one of France's most popular acts in the 80s. Known for their stylish music videos and Moreno's iconic look, they scored hits with tracks like "L'Amour à la plage," "Tchiki Boum," and "J'ai vu." Their sound blended electronic elements with a pop sensibility, creating a unique and enduring style.

While their later albums experimented with different sounds, they always maintained their core electronic pop foundation. After a decade of success, Niagara disbanded in 1992, leaving behind a legacy of infectious hits and a lasting impact on French pop music. Though they are no longer active, their music continues to be enjoyed and rediscovered by new generations.
