Marjolein Keijzer is a Dutch singer-songwriter from Delft, originally born and raised in The Hague, who creates heartfelt music rooted in her deep personal faith and love for songwriting. Now in her early forties, she is married with three children and has been sharing her music for over 20 years, with her passion for both God and music shaping her life since childhood. Marjolein’s journey into songwriting began early; as a child, she was inspired by cassette tapes from artists like Elly & Rikkert, started playing violin at age nine, and soon picked up the guitar, which became her main instrument for writing her own songs. Her music often intertwines themes of faith, hope, and vulnerability, aiming to touch hearts and offer encouragement in all seasons of life. Since 2004, she has composed Dutch-language songs, releasing her debut album *Dichtbij* in 2018, followed by singles like *Blijdschap*, *Hoe mooi*, and *Geliefde*, which are now part of her newer album, *Hier en nu*.
Marjolein’s live performances are intimate and genuine, as she enjoys connecting with audiences in small home concerts, churches, and larger venues alike. Her music, including recent releases such as *Niet alleen*, *Tijd als deze*, *Hier en nu*, and *Geliefde*, reflects her desire to bring comfort and hope, often exploring the closeness of God in everyday life. She continues to write and perform, regularly sharing new music and stories behind her songs, with her latest works continuing to emphasize trust, peace, and hope on her musical journey.
