Mamma's Marmalade

Mamma's Marmalade is a newgrass quartet from New England, known for their dynamic blend of bluegrass and Americana music. The band was formed in a University of Massachusetts dorm room when fiddle player Lily Sexton and mandolinist Mitch Bordage bonded over their love of bluegrass. They were later joined by guitarist Sean Davis and bassist Dan Bisson, although Bisson has since left the group. Mamma's Marmalade is celebrated for their improvisational style and eclectic sound, which they describe as "potato jazz," reflecting both earthy roots and jazzy elements.

Their recent releases include albums like *Rabbit Analog* and the EP *Fakin' It: Covers Deserving Coverage*, which showcases their unique interpretations of songs by artists such as Elton John, Simon & Garfunkel, and Bruce Springsteen.
