Angelo Ariitai Neuffer, known simply as Angelo, is a renowned French Polynesian singer-songwriter and guitarist. Born on January 3, 1959, in Raiatea, Polynésie française, Angelo began his musical journey at a young age, participating in singing competitions from the age of eight. He is celebrated for his contributions to Polynesian music, blending genres like rock and reggae with traditional Polynesian elements. Angelo has written and composed over two hundred original songs and released sixteen solo albums, along with several collaborative works. Notable albums include "Manureva Teie" (1984), "Turamarama Te Fenua Nei" (1987), "Manahuna" (1990), and "Arioi" (1995). His collaborations, such as "Bobby Angelo" with Bobby Holcomb, have also garnered significant attention.

He has performed extensively in Tahiti and France, including appearances at festivals like "L'Eté tahitien" and "Heiva."
