Dark new Day

Dark New Day is an American hard rock supergroup formed in 2004 featuring members from various established alternative and heavy metal bands. The group is composed of Brett Hestla from Virgos Merlot (vocals, guitar), Clint Lowery from Sevendust (guitar, backing vocals), Troy McLawhorn from DoubleDrive (guitar, backing vocals), Corey Lowery from Stuck Mojo (bass, backing vocals), and Will Hunt from Skrape (drums). Known for their melodic, heavy riffs and emotive lyrics, Dark New Day quickly established a dedicated fan base with their debut album "Twelve Year Silence," which was released in the United States to critical acclaim in 2005.

Although the band members have been involved in various projects and bands throughout the years, impacting their ability to consistently release new music and tour as a group, Dark New Day has remained a relevant name in the hard rock scene. With well-received songs like "Brother," they managed to capture the attention of rock audiences with their cohesive sound and dynamic performances. Over the years, they've continued to release hard-hitting records, like the robust "New Tradition" in 2012 and its accompanying deluxe edition, along with a stripped-down version of their work on the "Black Porch Acoustic Sessions (U.S. Version)" which showcased the band's versatility and ability to create raw, intimate reimaginings of their music.
