Necronomicon

Necronomicon is a Canadian symphonic black/death metal band hailing from Quebec, formed in 1988 by guitarist and vocalist Rob “The Witch” Tremblay. Known for blending dark symphonic textures with crushing death and black metal influences, the band has carved out a unique space in the extreme metal scene. Their lyrical themes often delve into the occult, ancient mythology, and esoteric subjects, complemented by atmospheric orchestrations and relentless guitar work.

Over the years, Necronomicon has released a series of albums that have steadily built their cult following, including notable titles like Advent of the Human God, Rise of the Elder Ones, and 2019's Unus. Their music pairs cinematic elements with technical aggression, and they’ve toured extensively, sharing stages with other metal heavyweights. With a career that spans more than three decades, Necronomicon continues to evolve while staying true to their dark, powerful sound.
