張小英

She rose to fame after winning several singing contests, including the National University of Singapore Singing Contest in 1965 and the Rediffusion Talentime in the late 1960s. Her career spanned multiple decades, during which she became a household name in Singapore. She was known for her clear diction and energetic performances, often accompanied by popular bands like The Travellers and The Stylers. Chang Siao Ying released numerous albums and performed in various languages, including Mandarin and Indonesian. She was one of the first artists to have a special night program produced by the Television Corporation of Singapore. Despite her popularity, she maintained a strong family focus and was known for turning down performances during the Hungry Ghost Festival.
