Madness is a British ska and pop band that formed in London in 1976. The band's original lineup consisted of Mike Barson (keyboards), Chris Foreman (guitar), Chas Smash (vocals), Lee Thompson (saxophone), Cathal Smyth (vocals), and Daniel Woodgate (drums). Madness rose to fame in the early 1980s with their hit singles "One Step Beyond" and "My Girl." The band has continued to release music and tour throughout the years, and they remain one of the most popular ska bands in the world.
