Marcia Griffiths

Marcia Griffiths is a legendary Jamaican singer best known for her smooth, soulful voice and her role as one of reggae’s most enduring and beloved voices. She began her career in the 1960s as a solo artist before joining forces with Bob Andy to form the duo Bob and Marcia, scoring international hits like "Young, Gifted and Black." In the 1970s, she became a core member of the I Threes, the vocal trio that backed Bob Marley & The Wailers, helping to shape the sound of classic reggae during its golden era.

Over the decades, Griffiths has maintained a vibrant solo career, with hits like "Electric Boogie," which helped spark a worldwide dance craze known as the Electric Slide.
