Nero Kane

Nero Kane is an Italian psych dark folk singer-songwriter and guitarist known for weaving his European roots with America’s desert rock sound, creating a deeply emotional and cinematic musical journey. His work explores themes of death, religion, and love through intimate, minimal, and decadent compositions, often evoking a blend of Nick Cave's melancholy and Johnny Cash’s stark blues-rock. Since launching his solo project in 2017, he has released a trilogy of acclaimed albums—*Love In A Dying World* (2018), *Tales of Faith and Lunacy* (2020), and *Of Knowledge and Revelation* (2022)—all characterized by ritualistic and hypnotic atmospheres.

Nero Kane collaborates closely with Italian visual artist and musician Samantha Stella, whose involvement adds an evocative, interdisciplinary edge to his music through performances and experimental films. His latest album, *For the Love, the Death and the Poetry* (2025), continues to build on his unique soundscape—a mix of psych folk, gothic elements, and occult psychedelia—earning praise for its haunting, poetic exploration of eternal love and mortality.
