Quatuor Eclisses

Quatuor Éclisses is a vibrant French classical guitar quartet that has been redefining the instrument since their formation in 2012. Known for their originality and subtlety, the four guitarists bring fresh life to classical guitar by creating ambitious and innovative transcriptions of piano and orchestral repertoire. They met at the prestigious Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and quickly gained recognition, winning the 1st European Chamber Music competition of the FNAPEC in 2013. Since then, Quatuor Éclisses has enjoyed an international career performing in venues across the United States, Europe, and beyond, including Paris's Théâtre du Châtelet and the International Festival of Guitars.

Their discography showcases a passion for diverse repertoire, featuring albums like *Guitares* (2013), *Invitation française* (2015), *Pulse* (2017), and *Evocación* (2020). The quartet’s music blends exclusive transcriptions of composers like Bach and Rossini with contemporary works by Karol Beffa and Sergio Assad, demonstrating their dedication to expanding the classical guitar quartet’s possibilities. Beyond their performances, they also engage in educational activities, giving masterclasses to inspire young guitarists.
