Leon Haywood

Leon Haywood was an American singer, songwriter, and pianist known for his soulful R&B and funk hits. Born in Houston, Texas, in 1942, Haywood began playing piano at a young age and later formed his own band. He gained recognition in the 1970s with songs like "I Want'a Do Something Freaky to You," "Don't Push It, Don't Force It," and "Come and Get Yourself Some." Haywood's music blended elements of soul, funk, and jazz, and he was known for his smooth vocals and catchy melodies. He continued to release music throughout his career, including the album "Intimate" in 2010, before passing away in 2016.
