Benuts

BeNuts (stylized as beNUTS) is a dynamic German ska band that started in Munich in 1994. Known for their energetic live shows and being pioneers of Bavarian ska, they quickly gained popularity not just in Southern Germany but across Europe. Their music is notable for multilingual lyrics—mostly in English but also in French, German, Spanish, Croatian, Russian, Japanese, and even Arabic—which has helped them tour extensively through Central Europe, Russia, Japan, and beyond. Over the years, their sound evolved from traditional ska to include offbeat rock elements, partly influenced by touring with iconic bands like Bad Manners and Ska-P. With several albums such as *3 Tone S'Kaa* (1996), *Bavarian Ska Maniacs* (2008), and *Shut Up and Dance* (2009), beNUTS has established themselves as a staple in the German ska scene while staying true to their roots and spirited vibe.
