Ranajit Sengupta is a renowned sarod player and composer from India, celebrated for his contributions to Indian classical music. Ranajit is one of the youngest top-grade sarod players recognized by All India Radio and Television, and he has won several prestigious awards, including the Presidents' Award for securing first place in the All India Radio Competition, the Acharya Baba Allauddin Memorial Award, and the Pandit Nikhil Bannerjee Memorial Award. Ranajit's recent works include "Midnight Mood (Indian Classical Sarod) (2015)," "Live In London (2020)," and "Shringar." He has composed music for films such as the Dutch feature "Dark Amsterdam" and the road movie "Lost & Found Tour." Ranajit is also a respected educator, having lectured at universities worldwide, including in the USA, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, England, and India.
