Christine Leakey

Christine Leakey is a multi-talented independent recording artist and creative force who grew up in the picturesque Thousand Islands region. From an early age, she was immersed in a world of creativity, starting piano lessons with a nun, crafting songs for her dog, and drawing and painting from childhood. After studying Graphic Design and pursuing postgraduate work in 3D Animation and Children's Book Writing, Christine taught herself guitar and quickly began writing music, forming bands like The Double Feature Creatures and later Tijuana Knievel. Over the years, she has composed over two hundred songs spanning genres such as garage rock, jazz ballads, and dreamy lullabies. Christine produces, arranges, and records much of her music independently, often collaborating with skilled musician friends from diverse musical backgrounds. Her solo releases include full-length albums like *Tapping Trees In A Trinket Box Of Treasure* and *Wanderlust Wishing Well*, as well as EPs including *Naughty & Nice*.

Beyond music, Christine is an award-winning graphic designer with extensive experience in branding, print, digital design, and video production, having worked with notable clients such as HBO and Warner Bros. She also actively participates in community projects and enjoys an adventurous lifestyle filled with nature, music, and creative exploration. Her broad artistic talents and self-driven approach make her a dynamic and inspiring figure in the independent music and art scenes.
