Hodgy (born Gerard Damien Long Jr.) is a rapper, producer, and Odd Future alumni known for his laid-back flow and genre-blurring sound. Rising to prominence in the late 2000s as part of the anarchic hip-hop collective, he became a key collaborator with Tyler, The Creator, appearing on early Odd Future mixtapes and projects like *The OF Tape Vol. 2*. After the group’s hiatus, Hodgy pivoted to solo work, dropping projects like *Fireplace: TheNotTheOtherSide* (2020), which includes introspective tracks like *Everyday People Change Into Someone We Never Knew* and *No Brainer*. His style often mixes psychedelic beats with candid lyrics, reflecting his evolution from Odd Future’s rebellious energy to a more polished, experimental vibe.
