Acronym, whose real name is Dan Vicente, is a Swedish electronic music artist known for his captivating ambient and techno compositions. He rose to prominence as part of the Northern Electronics label, founded by his friend Anthony Linell (aka Abdulla Rashim). Vicente's music career began with the release of his first album under the Acronym alias in 2012. Over the years, he has released several notable albums, including *June* and *Mu* in 2015, and *Malm* in 2017. His work often reflects personal experiences and emotions, as seen in *Malm*, which was inspired by a friend who passed away. Acronym has also explored other labels, such as Semantica and Field Records, and has launched his own label, Stilla Ton, further expanding his musical vision.
