George Lynch

George Lynch is an iconic American guitarist, recognized for his groundbreaking work in the hard rock and heavy metal genres. Rising to fame in the 1980s as the lead guitarist for the band Dokken, Lynch's searing guitar solos and intricate riffs helped to catapult the group to international success, making them one of the seminal acts of the glam metal era. With Dokken, he released a string of platinum-selling albums, including "Tooth and Nail" (1984), "Under Lock and Key" (1985), and "Back for the Attack" (1987), before the band's initial split in the late '80s.

Following his tenure with Dokken, Lynch formed his own band, Lynch Mob, which further showcased his virtuosic guitar skills. Over the years, George Lynch has remained prolific, embracing a variety of styles and collaborating with numerous artists across the rock spectrum. His most recent solo and collaborative works, such as "Guitars at the End of the World," "Heavy Hitters II," and "Seamless," evidence a continued evolution of his sound, blending classic hard rock elements with modern influences. As a respected figure in the world of guitar music, Lynch has also released instrumental albums and continues to be revered for his technical proficiency and innovative approach to guitar playing.
